Thinking about buying a second-hand A3. I'm a little confused about the functions on demand. I've been looking for A3's with adaptive cruise control but I've just read that this feature is subscription-based and chargeable per month/year or lifetime. Is this correct? Does that mean all A3's with the necessary ACC hardware (distance selector on cruise stalk) will always charge to use it? Or will some be activated from factory?
What other Functions on Demand are there? Folding mirrors? Ambient lights? Park assist?
