Since my 2003 190T refuses to die, I am still driving it at 213,000 miles.
Front O2 sensor needs replacing. I have bought a sensor removal socket with a cut out for the cable, but the angle of the sensor means I can't get a socket on it. I have removed the heat shield, but still no joy. I don't want to remove the air box as there are too many cables and pipes attached to it.
Has anyone does this and what too was used?
Is an offset socket any good? Seems to me that the offset force on a welded sensor would shear something off, or cause the socket to slip!
Any suggestions?
Thanks
