Hello,

I have got my rnse out, because there are some retrofits added to the car which are not working (reverse camera, gps antenna, etc.)

I first wanted to fix the gps antenna which is not connected.

However when following the cable I ran into another cable coming from behind the dash, it runs to a device mounted to the side of the car.

Does someone know what sort of device this is?

Looks like an antenna of sorts, is it another gps antenna?

I do recognise it but can't recall ATM.

I have connected the device to the fakra port of the rnse, the nav showed me that there where 0 satellites found.
So I guess it is not a gps antenna, or it is broken.

After that test I've connected the gps module which sits on the dash and the nav showed me that 2 satellites where found.

I really want to find out what sort of antenna/device it is before I strip it of the side of the car.
It looks like it has been placed there from the factory, but that is not the case isn't it?
