Hello,

I’ve recently purchased an Audi S3 8P Sportback again. It came with 19 inch wheels, 225/35/19 tires.

I’ve just fitted new tyres, but my garage told me that the wheels were a trouble getting balanced.

I would like to get some new rims, but I struggle to find what the right sizes are.

I’ve read a lot about ET 45-50 is the best way to go for a S3. However mine is lowered quite a bit.

The current wheels are running a bit in the back, but I am not able to find out what the ET on them is. (They are not original Audi rims)

In short: what is the best rim fitment size for 225/35/19 inch tyres on a lowered Audi S3 Sportback?

(See picture for reference on how much it is lowered, it is on a adjustable suspension and I am willing to up them a bit)

I run A4 DTM ALLOYS but alas they are only 18x225x40 ET44 and my car is lowered by 20mm and i have no issues.
Now am assuming ur on coils so probably adusting them will allow u more play to sort out 19".

I am on bilsteins, which I can turn up a bit. The current 19’s I am running are running just a little in the back.

However, like mentioned I am not able to find out the ET value of the current rims.

For 19 inch, would ET 45 to 48 be sufficient?
