Named component vs full warranty.

I’ve been looking at extended warranty for a couple of cars i am interested in.

The difference between named component and full warranty is negligible on the newer car, but on the older one (2014) it’s £550.

Named component cover seems really extensive, I can’t see anything that is worth the extra £500 for full cover.

Am I missing something?
