Anyone tried this scanner for basic usage.

The need has arisen for a cheap fault code reader in our household, saw this online amongst the vast array of similar devices.
Any positive or negative thoughts on it, don't need it for serious stuff like vcds , just an issue with the Viano this weekend that needs looking at.
