Morning, all....
I've got a 2004 1.9TDI Avant Sport 130hp & it pretty much got condemmed at it's MOT yesterday
Long story short, pretty much every suspension component (Front & rear) needs raplacing, so I may as well do the lot & put new shocks on it while I'm at it. I'll carry out the works myself.
I see that you can buy complete kits of all new arms, rods, bolts etc & that seems to be the best value option. autodoc.co.uk sell a German brand called master-sport as well as other brands such as febi etc. Has anybody used the master-sport parts before? If so, how did you find them? There kit is £258 whereas the febi kit is £372
I'll also need anti roll bar bushes & some other bits, so that will be extra expense.
What about shocks...Any reccomendations? Are Bilstein still the best to go for? I may also consider fitting some uprated springs to lower it slightly.
If any of you have done a similar overhaul, I'd love to hear from you & any advice that you may have.
Cheers!
