P0101

Hey everyone

I keep getting a P0101 code “Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit Range / Performance”
(Audi A4 B6 2.5 V6 TDI 2003)

I have:

•new air filter
•new genuine MAF sensor (also tried one from a running car with no issued)
•checked wiring from sensor to ecu
•there isn’t any air leaks on the intake side
•exhaust doesn’t seem to have any leaks either

Anyone any ideas why I keeps throwing this code up?

Been doing my head in for weeks !

I’ve done/checked everything on that list

Other than the fact it says it can throw the code up for “implausible reasons,from mechanical problems” however that seems to be more relevant to petrol engines not diesel‍

clean the ground points and check the cables from the maf you won't be the first that either has a DOA MAF or a wire that has rubbed through causing all sorts of headaches ( the mk4 and mk5 golf are known for this by the way) about the ground cable problems, most just sort that out by either adding an extra ground cable of 0 gauge thickness or they replace all 3 ground cables for new ones.
