With each year winter period, this comes up more and more now and just getting on my t...ts.

New and newer vehicles, including them ridiculous EVs, have misaligned headlamps dazzling everyone on the oncoming lanes. WTF!
If they're not aimed too high, some have "lazy lamp" and dazzle you with one of them.

How the f... Do you pass mot?!
Just sort them out!

New and newer vehicles less than 3 years old are exempt from MOT so you asking how they even passed the MOT... well don't know but erh simply because there is no MOT for them... and the ones you are on about aren't glaring nor set wrong... it's the new laser led headlights that are so intense it seems they dazzle... believe me if they would be blinding you, you won't be able to see anything for at least 3 seconds.

That said simply move your focus from right infront of you, to the curb on the opposite side off the on coming vehicle with those lights. You should be fine and won't feel like they are blinding you.

But yeah I do think somewhere down the line the manufacturers are going nuts... for no other reason than showing off. I wonder if this trend keeps going, if they'll allow people to tint all the windows just to safe their retinas.

Thank you for your input and point of view.

Forgot about new vehicled not needing mot, being fresh of the factory line. That still raise an eyebrow of how did thiese facories let this particular vehicle on the road, being like that?

Some cases are natural to happen where, on a road curve to the right, oncoming vehicles are on left curve, and that vehicle have so pawerful lamps that they still dazzle you. No other ones do, just the plucking EV (example).

Laser headlamp on no, their aim is eithe too high or completely off.
Drove behind one the other day and seen their top cut off line. Compared to any other vehicle, it was devinetely shining higher at the rear of vehicle in front of them.
Heard somewhere that, this headlamp top cut off line should not be higher than vehicle in front boot handle (regardless of estate or saloon). Don't know of the distance from one to another, if matters in this case but have noticed vehicles aim no higher than that, apart from them I have issue with. Lol

Now that is more likely the fact that they are up to close to the rear of the other vehicle... and it seems like the aim is to high but it isn't. As I said before it's those laser led headlights that cause this... i have a bmw dealer right at the end of my street, I see the new cars with those lights every day, and although the seem off they are not. It's the fact that those laser lights are just so bright. A normal bi-led projector is just shy of max 5000 lumen the radar versions are closer to 13.000 lumen... that is per light unit... you do the math.
