I had the windshield replaced by safelight on my 2021 Q5 and had an identical experience. They messed up the trim around the glass, the parking sensors don’t work (they constantly go off because it thinks the glass is something the car will hit). My insurance aggressively pushed safelight, and told me that it wasn’t worth putting OEM glass and told me OEE would “have the same effect”.
