B9 S4/5 front brakes on B6 S4

Hi All,

I have a 2004 B6 S4 Avant and it is time to overhaul the brakes (pads, disks and calipers). I have been looking to upgrade, but not interested in the Porsche or RS4(B7) route.
So i was thinking B9 S4/5 calipers. Has anyone attempted this and would the fit.

Unfortunately, the B9 S4/5 calipers are not directly compatible with the B6 S4
The bolt spacing for the calipers is different between these models.
It may well be doable but unless you can find an over-the-counter fitting kit then I think you will struggle to be honest.

As much as you do not wish to choose the upgrade route most others use, others use the Brembo 18Z 6 pot calipers and the bigger RS4 B7 8 pot calipers found on many other cars for a reason, they work and fit and not silly expensive.

But if you do find a way of fitting B9 calipers and disks to a B6/7 then do update us.
