I was having a lot of issues with my a4 2.0 tdi avant quattro 70 plate. I just had inlet manifold carbon cleaned and dpf was gutted also egr was replaced. But now garage has said my inlet manifold has blocked up again an my car needs an dpf as all the carbon is coming straight into inlet manifold as there is no dpf to stop it. Car is not drivable atm because of this. I thought these cars would run better without a dpf. Any recommendations? I'm looking at a £3600 repair bill an I've just spent £3000 doing egr replacement an car had to be mapped to stock then mapped again when garage realised dpf was missing. I wasn't aware dpf was missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
