I don’t know what to say really, faith in a decent dealer once again gone. Had a ‘while you wait’ service / inspection / brake fluid change done there yesterday. Arrived at 12.15 was told 3 and half hours max to do the works. Car moved at 12.30 into their workshop Car back out at 2.27 into...
This link shows that most of these car repair garages are dishonest.
Ticking the box, but not carrying out the work., etc.
This is why the customer should have the option to see their car being serviced, or have a video of it, or a live camera feed. However, most dealers and garages only provide a waiting area that doesn't allow you to see the car being serviced.
Halfords had viewing areas many years ago, but then they closed them off.
Next time you book a service choose a garage/dealer that provides a viewing option. But I suspect you may struggle to find one.
