Hiya all.

I've got a 2011 Audi A3 1.8 tfsi with very few optional extras - just reversing sensors I believe.
- Im not the best with my hands but I like to give anything a go and really would like to retrofit heated seats with one of the kits you can get off ebay.
My query is two fold:
Firstly, has anyone done this before and is feasible or is very challeneging and for advanced tinkers'?
Secondly, does anyone know or have a link to suitable or very well reviewed retro seated heater kit so I can purchase it knowing it's well reviewd and wont set the car on fire?

Many thanks in advance and any replies are most welcome,

Hugo

You're taking on a job tbh mate, stripping the seats is not fun & I've done mannnyyy, think twice about taking this on & I mean that sincerely.

^This^. I also wouldn't trust the integrity of those generic seat heater kits you see on EBay, cheap Asian rubbish. If you're going to do it properly use OE parts.
