Hello everyone!

I recently got my hands on a stunning Audi 8Y 2022 S Line and I'm eager to equip it with roof rails. However, I'd prefer not to drill into the roof. Has anyone successfully installed roof racks on this model without resorting to drilling?

I've been exploring options like glueing the original ones. But not sure whether they will stick. I don't plan on using the rails for real use and off course will remove them before selling my car.

If you've successfully installed roof racks on a similar Audi model or have general advice on non-drill installations, your insights would be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to hearing your experiences and recommendations!

I had roof rack on both a focus and a primera and they both used clamps which went under the door seals. Meant you could take them off when not using them.

Not sure what you are after, as you say roof rails, and then refer to roof racks, and you say you don't plan to use the roof rails for real use. Do you just want roof rails for the aesthetics? If you want a roof rack, then OEM roof bars are available, think mine cost just over £200. Picture of mine fitted.

Thanks! Yeah I meant roof rails, sorry. I'm not a native English speaker. Yes, I want them just for aesthetics but im not planning on spending a lot of many to get them drilled into the roof. So I thought maybe there are options when using glue. I know for instance that the spoiler for rs3 is also glued to the roof. Also, if anyone knows where to get some aftermarket ones that would be much appreciated!
