How often is expected to replace 2.8 V6 rocker gaskets?

Hi all,
I'm searching for a 2.8 quattro avant.
I've viewed a couple and both have oil leaks from the rocker covers. I know this is a common fault.

How often would one expect them to last before needing replacement?
