So I have just completed this. I purchased a pair of used folding mirrors from an A7. A folding mirror switch. And I didn’t require them, but you may need different door modules depending on part number. Then it’s a case of install the parts and code with VCDS. Works perfectly.

How to check for modules ? That if they need changing or not

Also I was doing some google search , advised do not need door switch the action for folding can be accessed in MMI or using caristc eg

Also do you reckon if the following motors can be installed to a non power folding mirror
