Anybody succesfully had a new map? Have read a couple of stories but they seem to be from 3 or 4 years ago.
Guess not many have done it!!

Couple of people saying fuel consumption went through the roof also.

Noo these cars are absolutely not worth doing some pointless tune.. not even 1.6 or 1.8 .. Only 2.0 and up cars is somewhat worth..
Can i ask what you base this on? Not being cheeky or confrontational just want to know why? People get a remap done mainly for a boost in power and/or fuel consumption, as i'm lead to believe both can be achieved with the 1.5.

Speak to your local Audi/ VW tuner to get the best ideas of what is possible… A quick look on the Revo site suggests some gains with just stage 1 software. Stage one with a panel filter should be fine with no issues but speak to the experts who do this sort of thing daily.

Fuel consumption will go up if you put your foot down more. Most people tend to do this after a remap

Keep your shirt on lad. I overlooked that point. Only asking as i still have my old 2.0ltr tdi in the family which had a quantum remap which i was very pleased with. When you say the engines are too weak, how do you mean?
I read many peoples thoughts on doing it to the tdi and many mentioned that various parts would need uprated?? Still going strong now 3yrs later...
