Is there no boost gauge on the s3?

Seems like the s3 dash is exactly the same as a basic a1/a3, not tailored it to the S3 at all? Didn’t the 8v say S3 on the mmi at least?
 
I’m the US you only get the boost gauge with then Virtual Cockpit Plus, which really sucks. What’s worse is that you can’t really change anything in the standard VC. It is the one thing I really dislike about the car.

The standard cockpit looks like it does the same as the plus other than you can change the dials more on the plus?
 
No. The standard VC screen is smaller. The Plus is larger and has many more options/customizations.

I don’t know why Audi don’t do the vc plus much in uk, not even an option anymore. You’d think with my23.5 theyd update it

Edition 1 used to get it and the S3 Vorsprung but it's only the Vorsprung now I believe

Yeah, seems strange how they don’t push the plus much, surely it would be easier to just fit the plus in all S3’s now that we are several years into the 8y? At least we get flatten bottom steering wheel, hardly any in Europe or USA have flat bottom

They should just fit them to all the models, the price of the 8Y has increased several times since launch and again when the black Edition was released - it really can't cost that much more and would then ease the pressure on parts surely

I’m not going to be losing much having the standard cockpit though am I? Just means I don’t get a boost gauge and don’t get the boomerang rev counter? Only other thing is you can have the maps to the side on the plus but that’s because it has a centre rev counter so it has to go to the side.
 
I think NOT having the boomerang rev counter is a bonus!

I've got just the standard VC and it's fine (having come from a TT, which had the plus as standard!). I really like the pale blue gauges and sweep colours.
TBH, I only really look at mph, fuel, the clock and, for interest, sometimes mpg.
