Hi guys

Bit of an odd one. When my AVF 1.9 TDI is cold the power delivery is kinda jerky when pulling away. A bit of extra rev's push's past it, but it didn't use to do it.
Once warmed up it's smooth and the issue is gone.

I'm unsure where to start on this one. Car drives fine, still does superb economy. Has done 138k miles, cambelt was changed in the last 20k miles and timed correctly. Clutch and DMF was replaced in the last 12k miles with LUK replacements, no issues with power engagement.

I was thinking mounts but then it wouldn't make sense the issue would go away with heat. The car doesn't feel like it's misfiring or anything like that.
Could it be something like a camshaft or crank sensor giving up? I have VCDS, how could I check for this? No codes are being recorded.

Any ideas on how to approach it?

Bit of a long shot, does it start up fine when cold? just thinking possibly air bubble in the fuel lines so not so much a case of warming up but purging out the air and it then running fine?

Like i say.. a long shot, but just something that came to mind.

I'm not sure what these cars do differently when cold, but mine has a dodgy sounding turbo when letting the throttle off (sounds like darth vader!) but you do't get that straight away from cold, that starts after a few minutes.. and the car does feel different, so must be something like a modern version of the good old Choke?
