Hi everyone!

I've been searching for couple days for a thread and/or video where someone is explaining HOW to replace and WHERE to buy latch/clip for backseat arm rest.

I've S-Line leather seats with cup holder/arm rest on the backseat, and the latch that's keeping storage compartment has snapped in half.

I can't find anywhere that someone had this issue, or how someone fixed it.

Also, I've been searching to buy latch/clip for that backseat arm rest, but wasn't able to find that either (eBay, Amazon, Aliexpress, etc..)

Has anyone else had this issue? If yes, how can I resolve this?

Here are images that are showing which exact clip has broken.

Hey @LEE69 thanks for a reply. I'm not sure if you've check images, but armrest that I'm talking about is the one on the back seat of the car. That latch (AFAIK) is not the same as the one that comes on the lid of an armrest for the front seats.

No I didn't, is a rare thing you got so assumed it was the front one

yeah, seems like it's very rare. There is no any kind of a post, a video, or anything that could help.

Lucky you to only have the lid bust. The entire plastic frame on mine has shattered somehow. I have to get an entire replacement.

Well, low and behold... 16 years on... and mine finally broke. The rear seat armrest clip. No stress, really. It's just bad plastic that doesn't age well. The magnet solution I used for the front is still working great. I put it in about 4+ years ago.
For the rear, that clip piece needs to be in place, because it leaves an unsightly gap if it's not there. I think I'm going to try gluing it in place, but askew enough that there's no clip stress, and then just fasten magnets to do the securing.

I would prefer a proper solution, but it looks like this clip was originally molded to the whole plate... which means, the entire armrest would need to be replaced. Too expensive.
