Window seal - water getting into door frame

Hello,
Recently my window regulator wire on my Audi A5 8T had snapped due to corrosion. I took off the door card and noticed water getting into the door frame. After having done some inspection I could see a small gap between the window and the exterior window seal. Anyone know how to rectify this?

Water will get in there as it drips through out of the bottom of the door, I wouldn't worry about that as it's not supposed to be 100% rain proof, more of a deflection, if it's got a huge gap then the door needs adjusting or the seal needs replacing.
