Hey, guys getting new rims for my a3 (19, 5 x 112, 8.5j, ET45) I just wanna ask will I have any problems with it and what tire should I fit I was thinking about 225/35/19 but I'm open for suggestions.

I have 235x35 r19. 8.5J, ET45, my car is lowered and I absolutely hate the wide wheels. They rub and I can't give it proper beans in the corners. Gonna go back to 8J, ET50 rims.

You may also want to use this calculator to compare with existing wheels, other wheel/tire sizes https://www.willtheyfit.com/ Also 225 on 8.5J very stretched, potentially unsafe, these are Audi A3, not a bimmer or jdm

Look for Et 44 plus CB 57.1 work well on 8j rims sit very flush with wheel arch

I had GTI wheels, gonna refurb and stick them back on, with 2mm spacer perhaps
