So guys, I have been really enjoying driving my car to the point I have decided to pay the balloon payment at the end of the PCP. Shes now officially mine.
If I was to hand the car back I would of had to pay quite a-bit in over mileage as I went well over the limit but that's because I enjoy driving the car.
Anyway I have hit 60K and the engine seems to be noisier now.
I can hear the ticking of the injectors really loudly too, (to me sounds like a toyota argo or something) oh and the dreaded COD rattle has returned.
Has anyone else noticed the TFSI engine get nosier with age.
Its especially noisy when I put my foot down, and when I say noise as in just general engine noise.
Car starts and runs fine and smooth as always, although I have noticed a slight lack of pull in the mid range but maybe its due new plugs and air filter.
It is due a full service next month which everything is getting done and it does go to Audi has one of the window regulators have broken so I am going to ask them to investigate.
I did have to top up the Oil for the first time ever about 2 months ago, I did think maybe its got a slow leak but since topping it up theres been no oil loss what so ever so maybe Arnold Clark didn't put enough in on the last service.
(I believe there is a way to code COD mode out now which would cure the COD rattle).
