If I install a second hand virtual cockpit display on my audi a3 8v, will I have any coding problems? Or any other problems?

I want to get part codes of the other non-screen part. For ex. Bracket, frame etc.

A used virtual cockpit now requires an authorised services provider, like myself, to request authorisation from VW group to code. If authorisation is granted then no issues with coding. Have complete many of these retrofits. If authorisation is not granted then throw the cockpit in the bin.

Can be authorisation done or requested before work being done ?
Like if user wants to do it and give all info to vw or audi and if they approve, user can start the job ? Or everything needs to be firstly installed and only then ?
Thanks

Using a virtual cockpit as an example the process is as follows:

1) remove original instrument cluster and connect used cockpit to vehicle
2) connect official VW group service tool (genuine)
3) adapt the immobiliser

the process will now fail and generate a document which the authorised party needs to print, sign, stamp (with authorised credentials), scan and email to the given email address. There is no other way to generate this “formatted” document and indeed VW group won’t accept the information / request unless it is in this format.

Takes up to 48 working hours to receive a reply from VW group and in the meantime the original instrument cluster can be reinstalled.

I received approval from Audi for the indicator that came out of the 8v0920790b audi q2 30 tfsi car that I purchased. my vehicle is audi a3 8v (2019) 30 tfsi. but the official retrofit worker worried me.

He said that an cluster that came out of the q2 car before, gave a malfunction when it was run after all the processes were passed to a3 and coded. In this process, I am in the process of equalizing the mileage to the vehicle. However, the center console will be cut off while the cluster is being mounted, so if it fails, I will have an irreversible problem.

In this case, my question is, will I have a problem when the second hand cluster with the code 8v0920790b is coded to A3?
