Manual Boot Release ?

Battery is fubar'd, key fob didn't open anything, key in ignition nothing happened.

Need to get into the boot as you guessed it - that's where a booster pack is !!

Key in the boot won't turn - wd40 is in the bo..........

Is there a manual handle/lever to pull from inside ?
The search doesn't suggest there is ?

Get some leads from another car to at least get power to open the boot from the key button which you should have afaik.

Not 100% sure but there should be a manual method to open the boot.
I'll check.

Theres a manual cable for the fuel filler flap, I'm sure i saw an article somewhere , its a very common occurrence.

key wont turn at all in the boot lock barrel then.

No, almost like it's the wrong key, no movement whatsoever. Sprayed WD40 in there more than once and been left for a couple of days now.
Surprised there's not a cable to pull as there normally is but my searches haven't found anything either.

Got (hopefully) Halfords mobile fitting service turn up later this afternoon with a new battery so I'll get into the car by then.
