Audi a3 quattro 2011 stage 2 necessary upgrades

Hello guys,
Need some advice on what are the necessary parts do i need to upgrade mostly in the engine, from stage 2 tune except for exhaust system. It is already currently running the tune (ECU & TCU). Not sure what are the important upgrade i need to do first. And also Its already fitted with a down-pipe. I know sounds dumb to just jump to stage 2 with only 1 performance modifications. Im the new owner of the car so I bought it like that. I have no idea about the info on what tune its running but i got the paperworks of it. Would appreciate any advice thank you!

For the 8p normally, for most tuners the only upgrade required is the down pipe. Several tuners will recommend an upgraded intercooler and an intake, but that's optional at least with unitronic tunes.

I'm soon going stage 2 myself as soon as I get a downpipe. I'll be fitting an upgraded intercooler before, but that's just because I have to replace the AC condenser. They are basically together so while we're there...

By the looks of it, looks like your stage 2 upgrade was done properly!

I believe down pipe and high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) are the requirements for some tuning companies to install Stage 2. You’ve already got the down pipe .

That being said, might be a good idea to make sure the spark plugs and coils are fresh. They will likely wear out faster.

Thanks for that. I thought it had been tuned improperly. Im new on tunings so no idea if it has been done right or wrong. I will be saving up for an intake. Intercooler can go in the future as im in a cold climate place.

Yep thank you. I’ve seen ppl S3’s had upgraded hpfp with stage 2. Somehow i coudnt find one for my car.
