Not sure how it would work but my order has been in since Nov 21 and of course pre-dates all the price rises.

Happy to hand my order over to AN Other with payment of my £500 deposit and a further £500 just because. If no interest then no skin of my nose and I will just cancel the order.

PM me if you like.

I also have the carbon paddles and AVC both never used of course (not even un-wrapped). Happy to include at 2/3 cost of each or sell to anyone interested on same basis.

Don’t blame you.

At least you won’t have to p**s about running the gauntlet of trying to book the 1st service like I had today.

Reminds me why Audi dealers are hated so much.

Are you sure you want to cancel? It seams such a shame having waited all this time to throw it away when it looks like you’re about to get the car you’ve ordered. Just my thoughts!

I believe you’ll have to take delivery of the car for it to work in the best interests of another member.

Audi will want £5k to de-tag the order out of your name and then whoever takes your build will have to pay the newest list price on the car and not your 2021 price.

Bonkers I know

I was thinking we could both go to the dealers the day it arrives and either fill in paperwork for AN Other not me or I complete the paperwork and just hand it over to AN Other before we even leave the showroom.

Like I say above I can just cancel and walk away so it only really benefits AN Other who gets a car now for the original price before 18 months of rises.

Yeh if the AS is ok with it having you as an owner on the logbook then they will be on to a winner and save themselves ££££

But yeh worst case you cancel it and it just goes back into the system for Audi to make ££££ on it :(

Nope nothing although @RS03??? did mention in the build tracker thread that some reds ordered near mine seem to be on their way. It may be that he knows more than the dealer!

Not related to the car, but what are the carbon paddles you have? Are they available anywhere online? Or where are you selling them?

Can't believe you've waited this long. I would have spat the dummy long ago. There just doesn't seem to be any logic to their builds.

It's not just Audi. VW are the same. I got a new polo recently, and I think I've seen this mentioned before about a golf, but the heating system is terrible. It's all touch based and has a mind of it's own. Changes it's setting every time you get in. Trying to get it booked in is also a nightmare. I've gave up on both the Polo and RS3. I'm just going to wait till service time to get things sorted. They seem to be able to pull appointments closer when they know they are taking your money rather than a warranty claim!

Only for sale here. Bought in a group buy about 12 months ago! Will post up a pic so you can see them.

Booked in last week for a ‘while I wait’ oil change 1st Service with an inchcape dealer.

Oldham Audi (Sardine group) rang yesterday, we see your car needs it’s 1st oil service (lol did that already myself but I don’t mind another one so soon as it keeps history intact) “sorry but it’s booked in at another dealer.”
“Well we can price match, just let me speak to the service manager, blah blah”

“Erm no thanks”

Next thing an email arrives confirming the service booking.

Spent 15 mins this morning trying to get through to someone in the group booking system, waste of my time.

Enough said.

Yeah I heard that to, if they remove your name from the order at any point they lose the price protection.

Would have to go into your name on the V5 first unfortunately or the dealership could in theory give it to the new person but at the current RRP minus any discount they might want to apply lol

@Terminator x l think your doing the right thing by cancelling reluctantly or not? The car industry is ******, you cant miss what you've never had, l cancelled my order 3 months ago l felt a tad deflated by doing so but l know now the car wasn't for me. l think the new M2 is a beast of a car OK the front end divides opinion but overall the car is stunning get your name down on one

Yeah they've changed big time just one of the reasons l patched my order hence me and the Mrs have a 26 month lease on a Fiesta ST3 l had to Have tooth implant surgery over the last 8 months £20k in total so the wee fiesta will suffice for now but l fancy a Golf R face-lift or maybe a face-lift S3 8Y when they arrive next year

Not got it yet mate gets picked up next weekend been in Turkey for the last 2 weeks got another 6 days to go here it's a means to an end car at the moment this car was ordered for stock by the dealer 14 months ago its just arrived with them last week if I'd kept my RS order on, it would be going into a 20 month wait now
