Thinking of replacing the pop out non-touch screen in my 8V facelift S3 with one of the mad Chinese android touchscreens you find on Aliexpress. Shuffling about through CarPlay with the jog wheel is miserable and I'd rather jab at a screen with my greasy fingers.

My question for anyone that has done this: Do I need to find a right hand drive unit? The panel that the stock screen pops out of looks symmetrical, so I'm assuming the replacement can sit in a left or right hand drive car. Am I assuming correctly? I can't find a clear answer in any of the sales on Aliexpress.

Hi, have you tried touching the car in the centre, it should pull up a menu
