That must be either a stolen car or someone who allowed their dodgy mate to borrow it. Dealers check driving licenses before selling a car so I don't see how that could be their car.

Whose to say he bought it, could be daddies money or name, there's lots of ways tbh, alas he's out of 70k now, even better I can't stand weed lol

It's sickening really people are still waiting for their cars though.

Wtf, why would you even risk that.

It's just madness to have a 70k possibly plus car & you wouldn't insure which given how these are a hot item for theft, it's absolutely a must, they should sell cars in proof of insurance tbh.

They do from new

Edit: from most used franchise dealers I’ve bought from

My dealer never asked for proof of insurance, unless they checked on the MIB before i collected?

Not a legal requirement but common practice, probably varies between franchise group. Had 6 cars in the last 4 years between me and my partner, new and used and always been asked for it. 4 of them from Audi.

How can they tax the car without proof of insurance?

If the chap borrowed the car off a mate then it may just be that his insurance didn't cover him on another car.

TX.
