Wtf, why would you even risk that.
It's just madness to have a 70k possibly plus car & you wouldn't insure which given how these are a hot item for theft, it's absolutely a must, they should sell cars in proof of insurance tbh.
My dealer never asked for proof of insurance, unless they checked on the MIB before i collected?They do from new

Not a legal requirement but common practice, probably varies between franchise group. Had 6 cars in the last 4 years between me and my partner, new and used and always been asked for it. 4 of them from Audi.
