Hi all.

in need of a little assistance, yesterday I repaired the loom, which after reading on this forum for a while is a common issue, my locking was intermittent and only lock the passenger side of the car then the alarm would go off, windows on drivers side wouldn't work, even the indicator on the wing mirror wouldn't illuminate. since fixing this, all these issue have been resolved, however since doing the repair, I have gone out in the car this morning, and the airbag light it on, any ideas why? and if its caused by one of the wires in the loom, then what colour is the wire

any help would be muchly appreciated,

Did you remove the glovebox at all and put the ignition on, or remove a seat? Even if you push the seats back it can sometimes pull the wiring. If any of those is a simple scan and clear the code and the light will go off

Hi

no i only took the trim off where the drivers foot well is to expose the hole where the connector is just below the fuse panel down the side of the steering colum, the seat was not moved, and didnt go near the glove box

Ok best to get it scanned, and go from there

When you repaired the loom in the drivers door did you unplug it? there's an airbag sensor in the drivers door, when i changed the loom in mine it triggered the airbag light, I just plugged my code reader in and switched it off and its been fine since.

Thank you for your reply's, I think you were correct with me unplugging it, it sent the fault with the airbag, so I got it plugged in and cleared the codes and the light has not returned back on as of yet thankfully. appreciate your help!
