Q7 Q7 Steering Fault

Hi, our 67 Q7 has developed a steering fault where it has become very stiff and doesn’t return to centered, there is also a creaking noise. I’ve attached a link to a video I took yesterday to let you see the issue. Do you know what the possible cause of this could be? Thanks.

Only thing that seems similar to what we had on the Q3 was the slip-ring going.
But with that, we had the creaking + horn + buttons all stopped working.

Long time ago I had something similar on the an A6 but where buttons worked fine - that one was the steering rack
