When I priced up an s3 at the dealer they put a £1200 discount on. Is this only if I use their finance? As I get almost half the rate if I use my bank. I assume they won’t still honour any discount if I don’t use their finance?
Yeah I think it was off the list price, I’ve attached the paperworkIs that £1200 off list price? I'd get a quote from carfile / carwow etc and see what they offer you then take it to the dealership and have them match / beat it if you can. I priced up a random S3 at Drive The Deal and that was coming up at £5k under list, contingent on taking finance.
Although if you do take finance to get the 'discount' don't forget you can pay it off whenever you like, including with a loan at a lower APR, but obviously make sure you're going to pass eligibility checks etc... just get a settlement figure and use the lower APR loan to pay it off.
£38k lol? Seems to cheap to be true ha. Especially with the shortages? So I specced roughly what you did on https://www.drivethedeal.com/buy-a-...attro_5dr_S_Tronic__Comfort_Sound__94789.html and it's coming it at just under £38k - so £2k+ less than they want you to pay. If you've got nothing to trade in (or can sell privately) then I'd consider using a broker, it's still going to come from a main dealer and you can still get Audi offers / finance.
They're a known reputable broker. (https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.drivethedeal.com) Try speccing it on https://www.carwow.co.uk/ and see what they offer you.£38k lol? Seems to cheap to be true ha. Especially with the shortages?
