Hi .
I read alot about people changing the oil on front diff, rear diff on the rs3 is it the same case on the S3 ?(or is there issues with the rs3)
I've done my gearbox and Haldex, just wanted know if diffs need doing and at what mileage......Audi say don't need doing.

As far as I know they do not need doing but its a good preventative measure - mine will be getting done in March before my next drag racing event

I have meticulously had the DSG and haldex done over the last 5 years

I am on 77k miles by the way, 2014 Stage 3 S3

Thanks.....mines 2015 just turned 39k and all standard

Did my S3 f+r diffs at 5yrs old & 20k miles just for piece of mind. Far easier than the haldex & dsg which I did at the same time. Got all the fluid & torque values plus a how2 written up here. Should you need the part number N90281802 – 4x diff front and rear fill/drain plugs with washers M10x1x10. I opted for Febi 32590 fully synthetic 75W-90 (GL-5) for the f+r diff fluid but there are literally loads of oil options so use whatever you want.
