If I fit a 200 cell downpipe and intercooler ready for stage 2 mapping could I drive it between fitting the hardware or will it just go straight into limp mode ?

You can drive it but just don't give it stacks - if any lights come up or limp mode, it will just be temporary until the mapping is on. I think I had to drive mine for a bit but don't remember any major issues
