2012 A3 Voltage / Battery Problem

Hello, Recently I have been having some electrical issues with my 2012 Audi A3. The dash lights dim when I press the brakes, bluetooth cuts out, random beeps. No dash warning lights illuminated. I scanned with OBDeleven and got the following codes..

U1017 (ABS brake control module / Read out DTC / intermittent)
01598 (Drive Battery Voltage Open Circuit / Intermittent)
00446 (Function Limitation due to Insufficient Voltage / Intermittent)
00668 (Vehicle Voltage Terminal 30 / Upper Limit Exceeded / Intermittent)

Battery is 2.5 years old. No problems with the car since I've owned it (3 years). I'm not too technically savvy, but hoping maybe I can remedy this without having to go to Audi. Fuse? Bad Connector? Alternator? If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!

Do you have a battery to swap with to test.

Check the ground point for battery on chassis isn't corroded under the fixing nut, sometimes this happens & causes intermittent power loss from the battery.

Thanks for the reply! I do not have another battery to test unfortunately. I will check the ground point as you suggested. Was just reading on another site that there are several ground points? Just looking for images etc. to show their exact location

I would test a fresh battery before investigating all of these problems.
The electronics becoming dim or cutting out is an indication the battery is ready for retirement lol, especially at its age coming up to 3 years. Always get the best quality battery as a replacement or for testing!

I’m about to get my 3rd battery on a 4 year old car. The original factory efb battery lasted a year, on second one which is 3 year old now and looking to get my 3rd. Probably replace it with an agm battery this time. At the moment it randomly show battery low on dash but most of the time goes away. On obd11/vcds it shows only 20%-30% charged sometimes lower.
i think 2 years of lockdown and not needing to commute as much has taken its toll on the battery.
tayna battery has some really good deals. Used them before for other cars and delivery is quick and pretty much cheapest around.

Just an update on this in case anyone is interested.. The problems (power loss while braking, beeping, voltage codes) have stopped since replacing the alternator. Replaced with a used OEM. So far so good.
