SQ5 Swapping tyres -TPMS?

I thought the TPMS on Audis worked on measuring wheel rotation rather than through special tyre valves. I’ve just changed my wheels and the old and new wheels use standard valves.

Depends if it’s indirect (measures wheel circumference) or Direct where it uses sensors in the valves.

It’s indirect using the abs sensors or something…so no need to change any valves over

Yes correct.

If it had sensors you’d get a display also

Yep, I’ve read the manual lol, and it’s just that, swap the wheels over, restore the pressures on next drive in the mmi, job done :)
With the greatest respect: maybe better to "swap the wheels over, restore the pressures BEFORE THE next drive in the mmi." Otherwise you'll most likely get an ALARM! And then re-check/adjust tyre-pressures AFTER the run, taking into account tyre temperature - best done COLD of course.

Tyre Pressures :readit:

Take care, be SAFE!
