RHD all weather mates

With the bad weather due soon has anyone sourced any all weather mats?
with the rs3 mats only available in LHD I’m thinking gen A3 mats to save the auto style ones I have from the wet and dirty footprints, or if anyone knows of a good aftermarket like auto style?
also if the gen A3 are the best alternative, the best place to buy?

In my 8V I just used to swap over to the A3 rubber mats.

Hi Jeff
Like you said was told rubber mats only available in LHD. So decided to fabricate my own. They must have been convincing as even the Audi tech asked where I got them from.

I picked up a set of A3 ones with my first S3 8V. Still the same floor shape in the 8Y so use them.

No they aren’t new….. Had them about a couple of years now, was in my PFL then moved them into my facelift.

I see. How did you fabricate your own? As you've said, they look OE which is definitely a compliment.

They look OE cause they pretty much are… So I already had new genuine A3 rubber mats when I purchased the car. And then hit on the idea, of locating a used set of LHD rubber mats. eBay de was a good source, then cut out the Rs3 logo. And then inlay into my original genuine A3 8V rubber mat. That’s about it..!!
