Hi all,
Having done some research surrounding my A3 ABS pump which has failed and looking for a new one I need to verify some questions.
Currently I have the following Parts installed.
Module -HW: 1K0 907 379 AD SW: 1K0 907 379 CD pump - HW:1K0 614 517 BD
I believe this was part of a recall in which the ABS module was re-flashed to SW: CD and if that failed on the car it would of got swapped for HW: ending in AN
I have 2 questions-
If I buy a module 1K0 907 379 AD with software AD can this be updated at any garage or does it need to be dealership.
If I buy a module 1K0 907 379 AN with Pump 1K0 614 517 BD will this work after applying my code to the module.
