Hi guys,
I have an Audi A3 8V 2.0 TDI CRLC (manual transmission) with ~200k KMs that presents intermittent stutters and stalling since more than 1 year ago. I went to two repair shops (one of them is an authorized VAG repair center) around my town and the mechanics from both places suggested that the issue seems to be an electrical one. However, they were not able to identify the root cause and fix it. I'm making this post hoping that you might be able to shed some light on this issue.
Issue: intermittent stutters and stalling. The stutters happen mostly during engine warm up (oil temperature interval of 70-90 degrees Celsius). Before or after this temperature interval the stutters are noticeably rarer. The stutters also sometimes happen when the engine is idling (short drop in RPMs) and, in some cases, the engine randomly stalls. The stalls have also happened while driving and pressing the clutch to change gear (the engine stalled at about ~30 km/h with clutch fully pressed and the starter motor did not turn when I tried to restart the car; I had to reinsert the key in order to start the engine).
I have attached a fresh VCDS log. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. At this point, I must confess that I do not have the slightest idea about what I should do in order to solve this issue. Random stalls in intersections are no fun and, as a consequence, I stopped using the car.
Thanks a lot!

Not sure if this information helps, but I'll drop it here just to be sure: sometime between 1 and 2 years ago the cabin started smelling like burnt wire during winter season. I disabled the auxiliary heater and the smell disappeared. Could this be related?
