Stuck in park esp light and parking brake fault

I can’t move gear lever into gear. Mechanic thinks mechatronic but it was changed last month. Battery doesn’t seem to charge above 80. I reset the codes but keep coming back. Also got gearbox malfunction as one of the codes but hasn’t come since.

Clearly you have a canbus problem.
 
I'm not the mechanic so I couldn't speak for him, however, if mechatronic is month old, take it back to be resolved as clearly that also has a fault, it maybe all related, but as I'm not working on the car, I couldn't say for sure.

Hi the gearbox malfunction came on and is staying on now. So you must be right.
