I have an AUDI A3 SPORT TFSI 2013 Hatchback; I have an intermittent fault with the passenger side wing mirror. Sometimes when I lock the car it does not fold in. However, it does fold in and back out when I start the engine. An Audi garage has seen the car on multiple occasions; however, they can't seem to replicate or even diagnose the issue. The wing mirror unit was replaced twice, and the door control unit was replaced. My car has been in with a master technician for a week, and they still haven't found a solution. I have been advised to remove my retrofitted apple carplay and reversing camera so that they can rule that out as an issue. However, the fault was present before I fitted the retrofits. They think it may be something to do with the CAN bus electrical system.
Has anyone else had a similar issue? Did you ever find a solution?
