Hello,

I have this code coming up after a front on collision.
Wonder if it’s safe to drive around until the insurance guys do the repairs . Any idea ?
We have a planned trip coming up and really don’t want to screw it up ))

It's safe to drive in so much the airbag system may be disabled, as usually when 1 protection system item has a fault, it disables the whole lot until cleared.

So you can drive but be aware if you have another incident, it may not protect anyone so to speak.

yes there is an airbag warning light and the code says. The manual says this could be anything from pedestrian airbag to internal.

I called in the breakdown service just now . They seem to believe that the airbags should be working fine. The error seem to be something related to pedestrian crash sensor.
I am still not confident though.
