Hey guys i have a audi a3 1.6 i bade modle 2007 so i bought my sefl a steering wheel ecu from facelift so i can make the steering wheel buttons make
I got the
8p0 953 549 f is the one i have
Before i had a 1k0 953 549 or something like that
So i changed the ecu all good but it shows to me that i need to basic setting or adaptation the steering angle sensor and i tried but it just won't work i tried module 44 and when i put the security number it fails as it says error 35 invalid number
Tried from module 03 abs and in adaptations i don't have steering angle sensore
Can anyone help me

Without checking part numbers, sounds like you've swapped the module with space for the angle sensor with one from a later car

Later models have the angle sensor in the steering rack

Did you refit the angle sensor? Were there even pins in the connector for it (the black connector is still there but with no pins)?

If the above is true, you'd need to also swap the steering rack, or more easily source a highline module from an earlier car
