Excalty how true this is I don't know but I can see it backfiring dramatically if it does happen.
 
Another waste of time if it can be overridden.
speed is only one element in fatalities. Lack of skill, training and mentality of the driver is the biggest culprit.
its also making cars more complicated and more things to go wrong.

It's been on the cards for a while and it can be switched off, will only apply to new cars manufactured with that tech installed ..
So best stick with an oldie or good used .

haha whatever, I'll be maintaining my b8 and keeping as long as possible, I also plan to get back on a motor bike at some point so knock yourselves out with that one Mr Government lol

Well judging by all the fairly recent hype about cattle emmissions, they've obviously been out monitoring. If you think about it, if the vegetablists had their way, all these polluting cattle would be allowed to roam free and breed like rabbits, thus causing even more pollution. Solution - eat more steak :yum:
