So this should be sort of continuation to the other thread of mine - having problem after installing the Eibach pro kit on my PFL A3. Long story short- got the pro kit, installed it and it appeared that my car differs quite a lot of what others here had as a result installing the same kit. I think the front is fine, however the rear tires go a bit too much under the fender in comparison to every single post here of lads installing the same pro kit on the same car on stock suspension. I contacted Eibach and it appeared that I had ordered the kit for the solid rear axle, whereas mine is multilink. Still I don’t think it should make such a difference. Asking Eibach customer service what’s the difference between the two kits, they replied the following:
“Sadly i do not know the exact differences in them.
Excuse me about this.”
I am uploading couple of pics /excuse my stock 17s/ for reference, and also a pic of the rear stock spring and the Eibach one side by side. To my amazement- Eibach was bigger than the stock one??? Still it sits lower. Ride wise the car has no difference at all. Ride is not firmer, cornering is almost completely the same, the only noticeable difference is when stopping- the car doesn’t tilt forward as much as before. Frankly, I expected quite a lot more as everyone here left good feedback on those springs. I thought the car wouldn’t go like a boat in corners anymore and be planted, as well as the ride being a bit more harder, which is not the case at all.
