First of I'd like to apologise if I'm posting on the wrong forum.
I have recently bought an A4 2.0 TDI (143ps) it needs some work on it and since I don't have the tools to do it myself I am looking for a garage in North East preferably Newcastle upon Tyne or the close area.
The things I need done are:
timing belt
4x shocks - what shocks do you put on these btw ?
front break pads
full service
Hydraulic oil - hopefully this resolves the hard steering wheel
think the dynamo pulley needs replaced as it's making noises but can one of the other near it
The check engine light came the other day no idea why haven't had the time to look at it but the car hasn't been driven just put some fuel in it then it came on, was thinking might be the tank cap but will see.
I don't mind me buying the parts or the garage to order them for me, just recently moved here and you know how it is, Google reviews just don't work for me, looking for someone reliable and cost efficient where I can get my cars repaired long-term. Any suggestions welcome!
A body shop do to a but of detailing is welcome too.
Finally any rough estimates on a total for the repairs mentioned above ?
