As the title says, for the sake of god I can't find it. I just retrofitted the hill-hold button in my A3 8V but I saw there are clips on the button to hold something else onto it. So, I went onto the great web and searched Google and saw that these are for the coinholder in front of the button itself.

Now before I fitted the button I had a blank button with coinholder, the coinholder is stuck to the blank button so there must be a loose partnumber for the coinholder in front of the Hill Hold button. As pictures speak a thousand words, see the picture below to emphasize my essay here :D

As you can see it's a loose piece of plastic, but for the love of god, I can't find the partnumber.
8V1858323A is the number for the piece with blank plate attached but looking for this number did not find me any results.

Do people still actually use the coin holder for it's intended function? Can't remember the last time I used one.

Everything takes contactless or card payments now so not necessary anymore. I don’t even carry cash on me anymore and a lot of the time I don’t even have my wallet. As long I have my phone or watch I can pretty much buy anything.

8V2858323B 6PS is the correct number 8V1858323B is the LHD version.

Thanks @Sandra
Yeah I'm based in The Netherlands so need the LHD :).

@Everybody else, yeah it's not that I'm going to use it for it function to store a few P but rather to fill up the gap under the button now :).

This part is only £5.00 from @TomCAudi, yet another example of people thinking Audi parts are a money making cash cow on ebay and most of them are damaged when they arrive because they have been mauled out by animals who either don't care or don't know what they are doing - buyer beware
The item i posted was only an idea, the seller is open to offers and has free postage to the Netherlands!!!

I remember reading on a thread on here years ago where someone said it's actually a holder for SD cards, not sure if that's true though.
Even Audi is calling them coinholders.. :p

I wasn't getting at you, but the number of listings on ebay now where the seller wants more for a used second hand item than you can buy new from Audi direct are increasing - the point I was making is " Buyer beware" and as I said, I have received parts which are broken or damaged during removal by the seller.

True, I've seen them holders now on websites of car scavengers (not sure if thats the correct wording) for around 10euro each, the item costs new €6,47 at the dealership.

A £1 coin is a very tight fit.

A 1 Euro coin fits better but best fit are those plastic dummy discs for shopping trolleys.

There aren’t enough slots to use it to keep a parking fund given current prices.
