RS3 Build Tracker Spreadsheet

That will work, if I compare mine on week 32 and @5pot on week 33, theres approx 2.5K difference when we omit the last 3 digits to give a fair bit of accuracy. Let me update the spreadsheet as is without the ordering on the order number as only other 2 members (@5pot and @Rhurs) have posted their order number.
Here it is now with the 1st 5digits of your order. Which makes the week signed the order form a pointless reference as the order number is the accurate reference.
Would be useful to update me with the order numbers of the members who have picked up their cars or advised as being built or In Transit.

My Order Number 31444***.
Ordered by me 25/8/21, but the "Detailed Order Information" screenshot shows Order Date 27/8/21, Acceptance Date 1/9/21.
This screenshot also shows Original Date 10/11/21 (which was week 45) and Forecast Date 13/12/21 (which was week 50).
My Original Build Week was 202143, which became Confirmed Week 202146, from the "Vehicle Detailed Information" screen.
I suspect that these week numbers may relate to the start of build, whereas the dates above may relate to completion of build.

As we all suspected, and becoming clearer... when we sign on the dotted lines, it takes a few hours to days for the order to be submitted and appear on the system. Most probably bigger the franchise, longer the time to confirmation.
Thanks for the order number, it also puts into perspective on cars handed over.

Good, including me did not know the order number was available until I saw a post from 5pot.

a quick update from the info so far, interesting... more please including from the members with cars in their possession. Seems if you order a Standard variant, its supplied very quickly.

Makes you wonder why yourself, Spinstorm and stratts (just a quick glance) ordered your cars at least 3 weeks before me and yet mine 'probably' arrived in the UK over the weekend and if not it's still built and waiting it's boat ?
Unless you added anything else like brake kit etc

Bog standard Vorsprung with option to have it in Daytona Grey and Sportsback.
Only thing I can think of, is we were too early for the system for the Vorsprung variants as no estimated build week was available, so shoved into a black hole and forgotten.
Have written to Audi-UK, usual evasive answer of chip shortage, variant type and still no direct answer as to why no build dates and why my order has been skipped over.

It's definitely strange. Mine is a Daytona Vorsprung Sportback too and has a late delivery as well. It has the CC brakes so I just thought that was holding it up but that doesn't appear to be the whole reason if others are seeing the same thing.

My dealer did imply, on their list all the Sportsback Vorsprung (7 of them) still showing jack, whereas saloon's are looking better.

Quite possible, may be the update from VAG->Audi-UK to dealers may be quite frequent and changing on estimates depending on bits availability.

Hi @RS03???

Mine is now due built this week and I've had no update to say otherwise. Was told two weeks ago that build week was 7. Any other time I've been told of a slip, so fingers crossed.

May be happening behind the scene and the next update is when yours is ready to leave the factory to be shipped. Audi-UK update the dealers every fortnight is what I am told by the dealer and Audi-UK.
@General if any of you have the order number to hand let me know please, just the 1st 5 digits from the left, Starts with 31nnn only.

I don't think that I've ever been given an order number and I don't know if my broker would go to the trouble of getting it for me or not. I'll see what I can do though.

As @RS03??? asked for pics. This arrived at the dealership last week and it's staying all wrapped up until @Detail Devil picks it up for me and does his magic with a ceramic and PPF package ready for a 1st March pick up. To keep it aligned to the thread, this was ordered in August 21 and the initial build week provided was 22 which then jumped down dramatically to BW2138. If I were all of you I would never cancel my order as even if it doesn't turn up for a very long time you will be able to sell your place in the queue when it gets near.

Only 2 weeks to wait.!. ppf and Ceramic to boot. If you have the Order number first 5 digits, would be useful to the spreadsheet and me.

If someone can update the sheet for me, my Order Number starts with 31426
Thanks, updated.. Now its visible, even though I ordered mine 1st week, the order did not get through for a few days, may be till following week.

From Audi - nothing new nor a surprise to anyone

Thank you for your recent contact with Audi regarding your vehicle order. It is great to hear that you have chosen an Audi RS 3 as your next purchase, though I am sorry to hear that there has been a delay with its arrival. I understand that purchasing a new vehicle is an exciting time and appreciate that this delay has caused some disappointment.

As you may have heard in the national press, there is a global shortage of semiconductor chips across all sectors, including the car industry. This shortage has also affected the manufacturing of Audi due to the number of semiconductors required in many components within our vehicles. As a result of this, unfortunately, at this time we are unable to provide you with a guaranteed delivery date for your order.

Our recommendation is to stay in contact with your selling retailer as they will be the first to be notified of any updates on the progress of the manufacturing process and delivery estimations. At this point in time, they have advised you of everything they know.

usual and unhelpful. I do not have you on our spreadsheet, if you are comfortable, can be added with your details of your order variant, when, order-id etc.. Just timy bit more intelligence than what we get from dealer or Audi.

I was told when I ordered mine from MSG that although the order was at the dealers, Audi UK wait for a batch of 100 or so cars before submitting to Audi Germany.
Now I don't know if that is just RS3's or if it is mixed cars?

Update from mine this morning was that it's still sat at Emden waiting on a ship.

Not sure, when I was at the dealers, the arrival of new cars are so little, that they would place customers car on display, until collected to fill up the floor. Normally, they would have a floor for standard cars, another for S-Versions and another top floor for RS models. Now all are on the ground floor.

I'm not sure how much I'd like it if my new car was stuck out on the floor for people to be touching and potentially scratching and also getting in and out of... I guess it should help by asking for the car to be completely unprepped and left with al the wrapping on as I can't imagine that would look very good sat out on the floor. Lol.

I think that is probably along the correct lines, whether it's correct (ie: 100) I have no idea, they would wait a long time to order 100 R8's, but it appears there is certainly some kind of 'batching process' taking place at Audi UK and probably at dealer/franchise level as well, that could be the difference between actual order week number and Factory allocation

PS: There could also be a little of the ''Your not getting any more new cars until you pay for the last year quarter cars as well''

possibly , the cars are put on display, locked up and with a board inside allocated to customer. Seen this on a BMW dealer.
