I didn’t get a thing, the only thing I gained was the realisation that I was telepathic, on the occasions that I phoned to see if there was any progress the sales person would usually say ‘’I have an update, I was just about to call you’’
I have text messages from Audi UK. I usually follow this up with the dealer who says something similar to Mike.46 said.. I’ve pushed mine for an update and was told that ‘CP8 update’ was not available last week and that there would be an update today.. Time will tell! I know it’s on the production line but obviously missing some bits.
They come direct from Audi. I’d assume it’s going to have something to do with your dealer inputting your email address against your order when you made your deposit. If they leave it blank then you probably won’t get these.
Mine is still "unconfirmed" BW17 May delivery. It's my Birthday at the end of May so here's hoping!
My rs3 sb was put from March 2023 to June 2023

Rumour Control and now its engine shortages...Next Rumour it'll be flappy paddle shortages .....

There was a worrying rumour also that Audi are running low on round steering wheels
But a last minute deal with DAF and Scania has secured supply so everyone case sleep easy
I’m starting to get very worried now!
So the last email from Audi saying “We've checked it over, now it's over to you” was dated 12/11/22.
Heard form the dealer that is arrived at Emden on 14/11/22 and there it has sat since. What’s that, 9/10 weeks now?
Not getting any further updates and I’m seriously worried that something is wrong here?
Unless others are in a similar position? Would really help to know.

I got that same email on 24/11 the next one was 9/1 to say it’s on the boat which seemed like ages at the time but things really sped up after that, next emails were from @Adam.Fleetwood at Warrington Audi and Audi uk on 11/1 to say the boat was in the uk (Adam knew before audi uk emailed). Car arrived at dealership on 16/1 then collected the car on 18/1. It does sound like yours is sat waiting for a part or even a boat by now going off what others have said previously. Shouldn’t be too much longer for you now, at least it’s built
Thanks for that. Yeah trying to remain patient but just seems crazy to be sat there for that long. There appears no logic to the order of things either as yours appeared to arrive at port after mine but gets on a boat before.

That is not normal sitting at the port that long. It’s not unusual for accidents to happen there, where they do carry out smart repairs.. When the car eventually arrives make sure you do a paint depth reading on all the panels!!
Seriously???… I’ve raised a formal complaint with Audi UK now due to lack of answers as someone has to be able to find out what the hell is going on! Dealership has no clue either!
How am I supposed to do a paint depth reading on all panels? That sounds like something for an expert which I am most definitely not….

You. can pick a piant thickness aguge up on Amazon for about £15.
BUT;
If the car looks OK but you find the paint thicker on say the wing and the bonnet.... What's your next move going to be???

Have heard nothing from Audi to say its started build but my weekly updated on Thursday from dealer said its still showing as status 20 week 03.
I’m collecting mine on the 28th of Jan. All pencilled in for handover at 1030 and then 1230 appointment for a Ghost and S5 tracker to be fitted same day
When I was chasing Audi-UK in 2022, the exec assigned stated, updates are fortnightly and often on email and spreadsheets followed by an update to the Factory Tracker. Not sure if this was reality at the time or just another fob-off.
Often, the updates were, car has been built and awaiting at the port.

My Vorsprung was at the port in Germany Last week. The dealer still is not sure if it has a 360 camera, perhaps someone who has had one delivered can tell me what has been deleted or replaced?
My delivery was back in September so things might have changed. It had the wireless charging back on, but was missing the direct TPMS, 360 camera and USB C ports in the rear. I think that was it, and still think it's a bit of a joke that Audi offer £500 off for the camera with it being something like £3k to retrofit...
I agree to retrofit would be a lot of money, I have heard that some people are trying to get Audi to give them money back. I will keep everyone up to date with the car when it arrives.

Been told today mines showing week 12 so hopefully April delivery, here’s hoping.
I'll deff be asking for money off for every single item that it should have had that is not fitted.
Does anybody have a comprehensive list of items the car should have (Vorsprung/Saloon)? I could then just tick them off one by one when I go to pick mine up once its in the UK. Been at Emden since 10th Dec
That is so annoying that it has been at the port for so long! do you know why it's waiting? Shrewsbury Audi told me that shipping does not take long!
I'm not too fussed, i've no intention of collecting it until 1st March now anyway.
I've just had an update from my dealer that my car now has a provisional build date of October 2023 / delivery of November 2023 (ordered Feb 22 > told delivery "worst case" by Nov 22 > then told build week 0323 > then status 00 > now this).
From this news, I will likely be cancelling my order as it's a joke - a feeling I see that is shared by a lot on here. The frustration from doing this is there will be zero repercussions for Audi. A very disappointing experience all round.

From the conversations I have had there will be no repercussions for Audi. My only consultation is that I ordered mine before the price rises and hopefully it will retain its value.
I can beat that….mines been at Emden since 14th Nov apparently…still no update and reason from Audi to the delay…beyond a joke if you ask me!

Hi. My build week went back to week 11 but has moved forward to week 10 today, still unconfirmed. Limping along to the finish line!
Thanks for doing the spreadsheet, it’s interesting what a couple of weeks of me not making my mind up in 2021 has impacted on the lead time.
